Rochester, MI – The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced today that Relocate America has named Rochester Hills one of the country’s great places to live. Rochester Hills was named one of 100 cities on Relocate America’s 12th Annual Top 100 Places to Live in 2009 listing. In 2008, the city of Rochester won the same honor.
Throughout the year, Relocate America accepts nominations for cities and towns throughout the country to be considered as a "great place to live.” Submitted nominations are judged along with key data regarding education, environmental greenworthiness, economic opportunity, parks and recreation choices, and real estate and home ownership options.
Sheri Heiney, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Director said, “The Chamber is thrilled that Rochester Hills has been recognized as a great place to live. We couldn’t agree more”! Relocate America’s entire listing can be viewed at www.relocateamerica.com. The only other Michigan communities selected were Hudsonville and Plymouth.
